HYDRANT SYSTEM The fire hydrant system is the backbone of the fire fighting systems in a building or premises. The system is a water distribution system consisting of water tank, suction piping, fire pumps and a distributed piping system. The distributed piping system establishes connectivity throughout the building through fire hydrants, hoses and nozzles. The purpose of the fire hydrant system is to provide a readily available source of water to any point throughout the building. This helps in controlling fire during an emergency.
Parts Of Hydrant System –
Fire Pumps – These pumps used to supply water from tank to hydrant points.
Hydrant Valve – This is used for controlled discharge of water on fire with the help of hose pipe.
RRL Hose Pipe – These hose pipe are rubber line. As per standards it may have length of 15 Or 30 Mtrs. These pipes have metal coupling for connections.
Branch Pipe – This is a nozzle which used for focusing water flow on to the fire.
Hose Box – This is a box made up of MS sheet which used to keep RRL Hose & Branch near every Hydrant Point.
Sprinklers – This is part of hydrant system which is used to save building structure in auto mode. There are different type sprinklers on the basis of it’s use.
Sprinkler System :-
All sprinklers is brass castings polished / chrome OR white (polyester) unless stated otherwise and rated for 12.0 KG/CM2 WG and factory tested for 34.0 KG/CM2. Sprinklers is pendant OR side wall type . Temp. classification of sprinklers in each space shall be as shown on the drawings. Sprinklers shall be selected for the coverage shown on the drawings and ordinarily be 15 MM.
Water Spray System :-
We offer our clients a range of water spray system that is manufactured by reputed vendors. These systems find application in various commercial and industrial establishments. We have several types available with us that include systems with GM/SS type nozzles with stainless steel clamp for quick fixing or unfixing of nozzle.
