Tubing Based Suppression System –
These systems are very important for fighting fire in enclosed areas like Electric Panels & CNC machines. Basically, these are the areas which is functioning 24X7 & are enclosed so there is very high chances of fire. Same time firefighting is very difficult in this as these are covered with doors. So, we need an automatic system to fight fire in these areas. So, this system is solution of this problem which can suppress fire at very early stage.
Beauty of this system is that same system is used for detection & suppression of fire. We need not to open closed racks of panel for fighting the fire. Fire is detected through heat sensing tube & firefighting agent comes out from this tube itself.
On the basis of stored pressure of fire extinguisher, we divide these systems in two different categories which are as follows.
- Low Pressure System ( HFC227ea, HFC236Fa & FK-5-1-12 Gas Based System)
- High Pressure System ( CO2 Gas Based System)
On the basis of Application these are of two types –
- Direct System
- Indirect System
